Hello there! My name is Candace, and I’m a NYC-based Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I’m dedicated to helping women of color navigate work stress, family dynamics, relationships, and social anxiety that may show up as overthinking, self-doubt, or concerns about how they’re perceived.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by the expectations to be everything to everyone, struggling with boundaries, or feeling disconnected from themselves. Together, we work toward building confidence, creating healthier boundaries, and cultivating a life that feels more authentic and aligned.
I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely heard. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients manage stress, build resilience, and navigate life with greater self-compassion. My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I meet clients where they are while helping them gain clarity, deepen self-understanding, and create meaningful change.
Outside of therapy, I recharge through yoga, pilates, thrifting, and exploring art museums. I value creating a life that feels balanced and fulfilling, and I encourage my clients to define that for themselves, too.
