Fees & Insurance

At Wellness Road, we aim to make therapy as accessible and transparent as possible. We understand that navigating fees and insurance can feel overwhelming, and our team is here to guide you every step of the way.

Below is an overview of our fees, insurance options, and policies.

In-Network Insurance Coverage

We are in-network with the following insurance plans:

- Aetna
- Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)
- Cigna
- Oscar
- Oxford
- UnitedHealthcare
- Lyra EAP Benefits

For clients using these plans, sessions are typically covered with only a copay or coinsurance. Our administrative team is happy to verify your benefits and expected costs prior to your first session.

Out-of-Network
Insurance Benefits

If you have insurance but are not covered under the plans listed above, you may still be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement.

We provide superbills for all out-of-network clients.

Based on our experience, clients often receive 60–80% reimbursement after submitting claims to their insurance provider.

Clients are responsible for submitting superbills directly to their insurance company, though we are happy to assist with questions.

Fee Structure &
Sliding Scale Options

Our fees vary based on provider training and experience:

$150 per session — Master’s Level Therapist (cash pay)
$250 per session — Psychologist (cash pay)

Sliding scale options may be available and are determined on a case-by-case basis. We encourage clients to discuss financial considerations with us so we can find an option that feels sustainable.

Payment Policies

Payment is collected after each session.
We accept:

- Credit and debit cards
- HSA/FSA cards
- Cash payments (where applicable)

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Consultation calls are always free.

For scheduled therapy sessions, we require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a cancellation fee:
Insurance clients: $125–$200
Cash-pay clients: Full session fee.
