Bianka Scott is a bilingual, Spanish-speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that healing and growth happen when a person truly feels seen, heard, and understood. Her approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in genuine human connection, offering clients a space where they can show up as they are and begin the work of becoming who they want to be.
Bianka brings over ten years of clinical experience across adolescent inpatient psychiatry, NYS Child Welfare, community mental health, and private practice. She holds a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University with a concentration in Advanced Clinical Practice, and she draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-focused therapy to meet each client's unique needs. Her approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, holistic, and culturally responsive, honoring the whole person and the context they come from.
Bianka works with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, life transitions, relationship issues, work stress and burnout, and deeper questions about meaning and purpose. As a bilingual clinician, she offers therapy in both English and Spanish and brings cultural competence and lived familiarity to her work with clients from the Hispanic and Black communities. She is also attuned to clients navigating faith, particularly those from Christian non-denominational and Catholic backgrounds.
Above all, Bianka approaches each person with empathy, compassion, and authenticity. She believes therapy is a collaborative process, and she is committed to walking alongside her clients as they build insight, understand their patterns, and gain the confidence to create meaningful change. If her approach speaks to you, Bianka warmly invites you to take the next step on your path toward healing. She would be honored to meet you.
