About Dr. Danielle Lewis, Ph.D.

I am Dr. Danielle Malkusz-Lewis, a licensed psychologist dedicated to helping individuals move through challenges with clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. My work focuses on supporting people experiencing depression, anxiety, neurodivergence (including ADHD and Autism), parenting concerns, life transitions, trauma, relationship issues, burnout, low self-esteem, and grief. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Positive Psychology to guide clients toward meaningful and lasting change. I welcome teens, adults, older adults, couples, and families into my practice.

New clients often describe my style as warm, patient, and deeply empathetic. I strive to make therapy feel like a grounded and supportive place where you can talk openly about what you’re experiencing, whether it’s overwhelming anxiety, difficulties navigating neurodivergence, challenges within relationships or parenting, a major life transition, or a desire for deeper emotional understanding. I honor each person’s pace and individuality, and I work collaboratively so you feel involved, informed, and empowered throughout the process. My goal is to help you feel safe, understood, and capable of moving forward in a way that feels authentic to you.

In our first session, we will explore what brought you to therapy, whether it’s stress, sadness, identity concerns, spiritual questions, grief, or simply feeling stuck. We’ll identify your goals and begin shaping a personalized plan using approaches like CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and Positive Psychology. Over time, we will work together to recognize patterns, build coping skills, strengthen emotional awareness, and support healthier relationships with yourself and others. Whether you come as an individual, couple, or family, I focus on helping you develop practical tools and a deeper sense of confidence so you can navigate life with more balance, purpose, and ease.
